Addiction

Find Support — For Yourself and Your Loved Ones

Addiction can affect almost every family. It can range from the urge not to miss a TV series, the misuse of legal substances such as nicotine or alcohol, to the use of illegal drugs. Dependence on media is also increasingly common, especially among children and adolescents.

Addiction rarely affects just one person. Partners, parents, and children often suffer alongside the person who is dependent. Feelings of shame, guilt, anger, and financial strain can make life very difficult — both for those directly affected and for their loved ones.

If you yourself are struggling with addiction

You don’t have to face it alone. In therapy and counseling, we can explore what role addiction plays in your life and what steps will help you regain control and freedom. Even after withdrawal or hospitalization, ongoing therapeutic support is essential for developing and maintaining a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle.

If your partner, family member, or someone close to you is struggling with addiction

You, too, deserve support. Living with or caring for someone with addiction can be exhausting and painful. Even if your loved one is not ready to change, you can still take steps to protect your own well-being, set healthy boundaries, and find new ways of coping.
